Its time I updated you on how my FMP is going! I have chosen the subject of deep sea creatures, after watching David Attenboroughs 'Blue Planet' I became transfixed by the alien like creatures that dwell on the ocean floors. Their colours, shapes and defense mechanisms are amazing. I want to take these features forward into a collection that also mimicks Japanese street style. I want it to me mix-matched, bright and shocking but also androgynous. I see this as a kind of Urban Armour, using ideas like the scales of the fish to recreate a stylish armour. I will post some of the photos I have taken from aquariums and museums that I am using as inspiration. x
